A Local Family-Run Flea Market
Finders Keepers has been a long time in the making. David Clark has always been obsessed with things old, odd, antique, rustic, and obscure. He’s spent years hunting for pieces that are great for home décor, collector’s items, and things that are simply one of a kind. He’s always dreamed of having a storefront to sell their wares.
In fall of 2017, that dream became a reality. That fall, a propane shop moved up to Nortonville, leaving a storefront available for rent. David rented the store and spent months renovating the interior into a flea market space with his sons. He enlisted the help of his sister, Theresa Clark, to manage the store. We opened Finders Keepers on April 28, 2018.
We’re proud to say that our store has been an immediate success, attracting collectors from across the state. We have a rotating cast of 12 vendors that help us sell our curiosities, and we’re always looking for more. In fact, we regularly experience so much foot traffic that we’re expanding outside the boundaries of our store. On March 22nd, 2019, we’ll be opening an outdoor market that sells items far too big to fit inside – including boat engines, tractors, and antique trucks!
It’s always been David’s dream to provide a space where we and people like us can sell the things we love – oddities from the past, beautiful antiques, and hidden treasures for the right price.
